Craft Your Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Goals
In The STARTUP OWNERS MANUAL, the authors make a point that Founders recognize their startup “vision” as a series of untested hypotheses in need of “customer proof”. This program is designed to help entrepreneurs gain a deep, personal, firsthand understanding of their potential customers’ needs before locking into a specific path.
The program will begin by focusing on “What business are you in?" Then, we will focus on developing your purpose, vision, mission, and goals, giving us the insight and information needed not only for developing the business plan but for achieving your personal goals and objectives. That is the process for the sustainability of the venture.
PURPOSE: belief that the company must be customer-focused and deliver a product or service that solves a problem or fills a need.
VISION: A forecast of what the company will look like in 3-5-10 years. It will consist of a STRATEGIC and a TACTICAL Plan
MISSION: A statement that supports how the product or service is different from the competition and guarantees it will add value.
GOALS: (SMART) A specific list of personal and professional objectives.
