Description
October is International Menopause Awareness Month and we are working hard to break the silence around menopause by creating safe spaces for women to get the education, support and resources needed and to feel seen and heard! Uniting families, because menopause affects not only women, but also partners, children, and entire households. Building advocacy to ensure better education, healthcare, and resources for women everywhere.
Hot flashes, brain fog, mood swings—and a whole lot of silence. We’re done with that. The Menopause Walk is our joyful, unapologetic way to bring women, families, and allies together to break the stigma, share real education, and build a village that supports women through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
This year, we are proud to announce our collaboration with State Representative Kamela Smith (District 15), who shares our commitment to uplifting women’s health, equity, and community wellness. Together, we’re walking for awareness, access, and action.
Why we’re walking:
• To make menopause visible and talk-about-able
• To fund education, research, and community programs through the Pretty Moody Foundation
• To push for equity—so Black women and women of color get the care, data, and dignity we deserve
• To remind every woman: you are not alone
Why you should participate:
• Be part of a powerful, feel-good movement that saves sanity & changes lives
• Enjoy a family-friendly day of wellness, music, and community
• Access resources, coaches, and experts who actually get it
• Your registration fuels scholarships, period equity drives, and menopause education all year long
